Feral Cat Shelter

One of my easy solutions to a  simple feral cat shelter.

All you need is:

- Two Rubbermaid containers, one that fits comfortably inside the other.

- A sheet of Styrofoam insulation

                            *cut it to insert between the two containers, bottom, top, and sides .

- Some straw to keep them warm. Be sure to change the straw regularly so it stays dry.

I cut the holes with a saber saw but you could use a sturdy utility knife too, just be careful, the containers are slippery.

Your cold outside kitties will appreciate the toasty warm shelter.
